Exploring Tennessee

Walk This Way in Ashland City!

There is nothing like a great walk in the sunshine on the first day of Spring. If you are looking for any easy and flat path in nature this is for you.  This cute little walking path is located 30 minutes outside Nashville in Ashland City, Tennessee.

The paved path has a little bit of everything that the great outdoors offer.  When you first start out you would think you are walking next to a swamp.  The further out you get it will start opening up to more water.  You will see Turtles basking in the sun and squirrels running around!

As you walk you will see miniature waterfalls and cross numerous mini bridges.  The big bridge is about three miles in! I love bridges and this pedestrian bridge did not disappoint.  This bridge is a perfect place for a photoshoot, enjoying the sun and looking at the Cumberland River.

After the bridge we turned around and walked back.  It was the perfect walk to talk to a friend and catch up!
